SYP Internship Program: Now Seeking Applicants

Intern Eligibility Criteria:
To be part of this exciting program, you need to meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 or possess a graduating GPA.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- F1 students must be in good standing and able to obtain OPT/CPT for the summer.
- Be an active SYP member.
- Adhere to the program’s code of conduct.
- Have reliable transportation for commuting to and from your internship site.

Note: Some companies chose not to be published but you can email syp@siawe.org for that information and just put the industry name on the application.
Selection Process:
- The SYP will act solely as a bridge between applicants and potential employers, facilitating the initial connection.
- It is the responsibility of the employer to conduct interviews and background checks, as well as select their intern using their standard in-house selection process.
- Interns are encouraged to independently research businesses and ultimately determine if the business aligns with their goals and aspirations as well as providing a comfortable working environment.
- Enrollment is now open. Employers will interview their qualified candidates and report accepted interns to the SYP.
Compensation:
It is at the discretion of the employers to offer paid or unpaid internships, and this information will be made available prior to the application process.
