The Society of Young Professionals (SYP) chapter of The SIAWE is hosting our 3rd Backgammon Tournament Fundraiser.
The tournament will take place upstairs at
Hungry’s in Rice Village
2356 Rice Blvd
Houston TX 77005
Date: April 27, 2025
Check-In: 12:00-1:00pm
Round 1: 1:00pm
All tickets include entry to the tournament, pizza, and chai.
Drinks and full bar will be available for purchase.
For this tournament, each match will be 3 out of 5 games, and those who do not win their first round match will move to a consolations bracket.
We will still play that “hit and run” in your home is allowed, and there will be no use of the doubling cube.

**Note** All players should review the OFFICIAL RULES of the tournament. If you are purchasing tickets for multiple players, it is your responsibility to share the official rules with them.
While we strive to make our tournament as professional as possible, this is still a fundraiser for our non-profit, so any player is welcome while spots are available. We recommend that you should know how to play backgammon and have a good understanding of the rules to join the tournament.
